A lot of my pieces are inspired by feelings-the feeling you get when you come across an old dresser hidden in the backroom of a second hand furniture shop or by browsing here and there.
This whimsical bath tray comes of one of these outings. The look and feel of old wallpaper that remains on reclaimed bead board.
Created entirely of reclaimed hemlock and other interesting pieces of wood. I've added colour and recreated the old wallpaper boards with image transfer using patterned paper that is equally inspired by an old Farmhouse feel.
It has one compartment and it's simplicity permits you to showcase special vases, soap dishes, or other but stands very well on its own.
The tray is 12.5" wide and the length is 30" and the inset part is 22.75" and will fit bath tub openings up to 26". Tray is 1" deep.
Wood is natural and painted and has a protective oil finish to protect from humidity and water.
Since each tray is individually created just for you with recycled wood, the coloring, tone, and pattern will vary slightly making each tray a one of a kind!
